What a great day. Had a nice night in Mississippi and woke up to 100 percent humidity. It was thick. It was a quick trip to the Barber Motorsports Museum. The people there weren't all that friendly but the museum is fantastic. What a great collection of motorcycle history. They really have just about anything you can think of. From there I had lunch at a small BBQ place in the area. It was run by a few women and there were only 2 or 3different options. The food was good and one of the staff even came out and talked to me about my trip. Off I went and I was in Georgia for all of 20 minutes. They didn't have a big state sign so there is no picture of that. Then it was into Tennessee to sit in traffic for 30 minutes before I was off to a nice scenic bi-way into North Carolina. It is really beautiful here. I finally reached my destination, the Two Wheel Inn about 20 miles from the Tail of the Dragon. I have my very own garage. Can't wait for tomorrow. Went out to dinner at a small local joint had some country fried steak and some great conversation with the waitstaff. Adjusted my chain and chatted with some of the other motorcyclists staying at the motel and now I'm doing some laundry. Its off to the tail tomorrow early then back here to pick up my gear and out to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

  1. Love the pictures and I hope you had a great time on the Tail of the Dragon today! I'll have to give you a call later to see how it went. Can't believe you have made it so far in just the last few days.

Miss you, love you and can't wait to see you!
